If what happend to Tennessee last night in the Music City Bowl would have happened to Georgia, I would have been appoleptic.
But...since it didn't and it did happen to the Volunteers, well, let's just say I am ok with how it all went down, much to the chagrin of my conference integrity family and friends.
The crazy thing is that the officials got it right. Had a Carolina lineman jumped off-sides and stopped the play, then there is no way they'd have gotten their FG unit on and the play off. But because college doesn't do a running clock on penalties, well, you can have more men on the field than on the sideline and you get end up with time to get your feces consolidated.
Couldn't have happened to a classier bunch, though, right? Nothing sucks like a big orange.
