Well, Duh!

Athens was named top college football town by the AP on Thursday:
"Catch a quirky live band and then grab a drink at a place that's changed names three times since the last time you were there."
-Travis Haney, The Charleston (S.C.) Post and Courier.
The AP polled their voters to find the town with the best place to watch a game and have other, non-football things to do while there. Also making the list was Austin (2nd), Boulder (5th), Chapel Hill (6th), Gainesville (a nebulous 7th, with an awesome dig at the Gators, to boot), Oxford (9th) and Charlottesville (11th).

In other news, Herschel Walker is still a beast, annon is still negative and wordy, Gator's still wear jean shorts, and the sun rose in the morning.

  1. After having gone to Boulder no idea how that place makes the list at all. Outside of Boulder (Denver, mountains etc) was great, but in Boulder it sucked as a football town.
