Let the Wailing and Gnashing Begin Anew

Now, there is word that All-Everything Isaiah Crowell has a leader after his visit to Alabama.
“Well, they’re losing a lot of games and have a lot of people getting arrested,” Crowell said of Georgia. “There’s just a lot of things going wrong. I do want to play right away but I also want to be where it’s disciplined and they win championships.”
Ya think Saban and crew are harping on those arrests?

No point in re-hasing those talking points.  Can't argue with either of those points.  Well, you can, since 'Bama is ignoring 2008 and 2009 when the Tide did well in some mythical championship race and had their captain arrested.

If there is a lesson to be learned, it is A) a national championship makes arrests seem less important or B) arrests that happened last year don't count.  Or both.

Oh, and Waterford footballs are shiny.

FWIW, I still think Crowell comes to Athens.  He'll obviously get immediate playing time at Georgia.  He's a smart guy and no matter how much BS Saban sells him on giving him a shot, he'll not over take Richardson next year (assuming Ingram leaves, depending on the walkout situation).  He isn't likely to overtake Freshman Corey Grant, at least in the short term.
