Nobody Puts Baby in the Corner

Like many others, I take a less previewy approach to previews.  The reason this week? It doesn't get better or simpler than Quinton's Paul Westerdawg's:
"Georgia is better than Mississippi State, and Georgia will win if our players give max effort every play."
Not to put too fine of a point on this, but from top to bottom, there is only one position that Mississippi State has a better player on the first team, that is KJ Wright at OLB, but Justin Houston is closing that gap pretty fast. Any other position is at best a push.

So, what makes the difference here?  Georgia showing up to play.  Georgia taking the bad juju of two very uneven performances and the steady stream of crap from bloggers, local and national media and turn that in to a performance that many of those people don't believe possible.  Max effort every play, even if that play is the seventh play action pass in a row. Max effort, even if we only have 10 guys on the field.  Max effort, even in kickoff returns.  By the way, this is the week we get a return for a TD (ok, just a bit previewy).

There are many, including some that claim they are Georgia fans, that have fired this Georgia team.  That is fine, be done with them;  I, for one, am not.

There are hungry kids in Illinois that'll take these Classic City Dawgs to the bank, starting tonight.
