BIE's "Office Linebacker" comes through

This probably won't do a thing for the "Fire Grantham" Club, but while ya'll are out on the ledge, puffing that cig like there's no tomorrow and trying to decide whether or not to jump, consider these stats:

* Despite the TV guys noting Baccari Rambo's "give up" move on that long pass, Rambo did have 12 stops (7 solo, 5 asst.) against the Gamecocks, which was the best individual total in the SEC.

* Justin "Office Linebacker" Houston had 10 stops (6 solo, 4 asst.), which was fourth best in the conference this week. Houston also had 3 sacks and a forced fumble.

It doesn't always happen overnight...but yeah, I like where this defense is heading.

  1. It boggles the mind that people are so quick to jump on the fire Grantham train. Considering we've given Mark Richt a decade and have no National Championship I think we can give this guy more than 2 games before we get upset!

  2. CTG has a lot of work to do to get rid of the "Willies" that the defense still has. I think he's definitely on the right track, though.
