Braves vs. Cubs

On Sunday, I am going to Wrigley Field to see the Braves and the Cubs in what I hope will be the third game of a series sweep.  I am torn and need your help.

Should I do the rooftops?  Upsides: Unique experience, all you can eat, all you can drink. Downsides: Ridiculously expensive, far from the game, chance of getting my Braves rooting ass thown off a rooftop.

  1. rooftops are fun if you have a big group, but you'll end up seeing most of the game on TV. The bleachers are a drunken, shirtless, bro-fest. Dugout sides are best for seeing the game and for checking out the ladies.

  2. That depends. Have you ever been to Wrigley? If not, go inside. There are only a few of the old ballparks left. It's an original. Get a Chicago dog and enjoy the atmosphere. The newer parks are nice, but it's not the same.

  3. I've done Wrigley plenty. A great place to see a ball game. I've done the bleachers once and agree about it being a bro-fest. Good for one time, not much beyond that.

  4. I've been to 7 Dodgers / Cub games at Wrigley, and we're 7-0.

So the solution is to fly me to Chicago and sit with you.

Short of that, I've never done the rooftop, so I'd try that out.
