From the Confield

  • The Senator hits the nail on the head.
  • I wanted to write something about this, but realized Mr. Fitzpatrick is just emulating the racket from the largest newspaper in Georgia.  Yeah, his shrillness is annoying, but I can't fully blame him without blaming who he is trying to be like.
  • Quniton at the Georgia Sports Blog lays out a pretty simple set of standards for player behavior.
  • T. Kyle King strenuously disagrees with Quntion's points.
  • Bernie points out the Boulder police's intolerance for such activities.
  • If they fight over butter and ice cream, then fighting over pork makes sense to me.  Now I am hungry.
  • Congrats to Atlanta Brave Brian McCann for becoming the first Bravo since the Crime Dog, Fred McGriff, won it in 1994.
  • Speaking of, did McCann's hit remind you of Ozzie Virgil's 13th inning hit in the 1987 hit, or was it just me?
  • SEC Media days can't get here soon enough.
  • Oh, yeah: Kyle King hates Auburn.
