Since beating the Lady Cats in OT in Athens to extend their winning streak to start the season, the Lady Dawgs have been strugging, going just 4-5. The Lady Cats, however, have been one of the hottest teams in the conference with just one loss in that time.
Robinson and Houts are hurt (Robinson probably won't play). The Cats are hot at home. The Lady Dawgs are not hot on the road. This has the makings of a tough game...but a win would be a huge confidence boost for Coach Landers' ladies. They are still playing for a decent seed and trying to stay out of UConns bracket. A win will put them in the hunt for a top four seed in the SEC Tourney. A loss would put them at 8th place in the conference.
Sometimes coaching isn't enough. I don't know why, but tonight it will be.
