I think Mark Fox's quote says it all.
Auburn all over the Dawgs 83-62. This is the team we feared we'd see all season. The Dawgs aren't good enough to let the leading scorer accumulate more fouls than shot attempts. They aren't good enough to not hustle to the boards. They aren't good enough to over come 19 turnovers, with only 9 assists.
Any hope of making a postseason run (NIT, CBI) hinges nearly completely on the SEC Tourney. The Dawgs would have to win all of their remaining home games (including against Kentucky and Florida), plus win two of the remaining road games (@Vandy, @ Tennessee, and @LSU) to be assured of a winning record pre-tourney. If they play anything like last night the rest of the season, even the LSU game is nearly a sure loss.
This season has shown that Georgia's basketball program isn't dead. Last night's game showed it is a long way from being really alive.
