Da’Rick Rogers named MaxPreps National Small School POY

Nice to see him get props as player of the year and All-American.  He is a beast that could be an immediate impact player on offense.  He broke Tavares King's state recieving record with 1647 yards.  Even more impressive, he caught 37 of his 85 passes for over 700 yards during their state championship game playoff run.

Georgia recruit Kolton Houston (OL from Buford) was also selected as a first team small school All-American.

In other news on futre Dawgs, Alec Ogletree of Newman and Garrison Smith of Douglass were named National Back and National Lineman of the year by the Touchdown Club of Atlanta.  Both will be honored later next month in Atlanta.

(with thanks to Jimmy Crackedcorndawg for sending this info my way)
