Mumme Poll - Week 7 released

The Mumme Poll for week 7 has been released.  A couple of interesting things jump out at me.
  • The gap between Florida and Alabama.  Last week, they were tied, with 'Bama getting the edge due to appearing on more top cohorts.  This week, Florida falls off some ballots (not mine, I got it fixed).  The Tide are in the top cohort on every ballot.  This is probably the best indication that inertia isn't a factor in this poll.
  • The number of teams ranked fell from 43 to 33 this week.  While I expected the numbers to whitle some though the season, I didn't expect 10 to move off this past week.
  • Swing game of the week: Georgia Tech over Virginia Tech.  The Bees move up eight spots, the Hokies fall ten.
  • Big surprise? South Carolina getting two votes for the top cohort.
  • Bigger surprise? Ohio State getting seven votes.
  • Biggest surprise? Oklahoma getting a vote for top cohort.  Wow.
Anything else jump out at you?
